[PDF]Hazardous Chemicals safe Storage Procedure

Hazardous Chemicals Safe Storage Procedure  Chemical Families Materials should always be segregated and stored according to their chemical family or hazard classification. Do not store chemicals alphabetically unless they are compatible! The most common hazard classes include: • flammables/combustibles • corrosive acids • corrosive bases • toxics • highly toxics • oxidizers • compressed gases • cryogens • pyrophorics • water reactives • explosives For Download the Chemical Storage Procedure  click on given below button

[PDF] Accident Investigation Tips with Reporting Form download in PDF format

Accident Investigation Tips with Reporting Form download in PDF format  Prevention is the purpose of an investigation. An incident investigation should: • determine what actually happened, • determine the cause or causes of the incident, • identify any unsafe conditions, acts or procedures, • help management to identify practical corrective actions, • determines whether due diligence was observed, • show the commitment of management that an adequate investigation system is in place.   What should be included in incident investigation procedures? Investigation procedures for incidents must fit your needs. Ideally, they should state: ♦ the objective of your investigations (find and correct root causes) ♦ who investigates what incidents ♦ what training investigators and incident responders will receive ♦ who receives the written investigation reports ♦ who must fix defects found during an investigation ♦ who follows-up on corrective action

[PPT] What is 5 why's ???? .. Very useful Training PPT for identity the Root Cause ....

What is 5 Why' s ???? Five why’s is a Root Cause Analysis Tool. Not a problem solving technique. The outcome of a 5 Why’s analysis is one or several root causes that ultimately identify the reason why a problem was originated Even though the discipline is called 5 Why’s is not always necessary to reach 5 before the root cause of a problem is fully explained; or it may take more than 5 why’s to get to the bottom of it. It will depend on the complexity of the process or the problem itself.  • It is said that a well defined problem is a half resolved problem; hence it is important to state the problem as clearly as possible. [PPT] Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and it's 16 Section Training Document

[PPT] Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and it's 16 Section Training Document  — M aterial S afety D ata S heet is Horoscope of the Chemical. — MSDS Reveals the properties of chemical, its nature, different hazards, preventive measures in storage & handling, First Aid measures. — It has  16 (Ten)  sections  • Threshold Limit Value-Time-Weighted Average, TLV-TWA -- Time-weighted average concentration for an 8-hour workday and a 40-hour work week in which a worker may be repeated exposed without adverse health effects. • • Threshold Limit Value-Short-Term Exposure Limit, TLV-STEL -- This is the maximum concentration which workers can be exposed for 15 minutes continuously without adverse health affects. Only four of these 15-minutes exposures are permitted per day and must have 60 minutes between exposures. The TLV-TWA still must not be exceeded. • • Threshold Limit Value-Ceiling -- This is a defined boundary unlike TLVs which are guidelines.
